Somatics Drop-in Sessions (live online)

These sessions are for those already familiar with Somatics (e.g. you have done a course with me) - if you’re not sure, please do get in touch and we can see if these sessions will be suitable for you. This page enables you to book a one-off, live, online Somatics drop-in session. No recording will be sent (if you would like to access recordings, please join our online Somatics membership).

When booking a single drop-in session, you are booking for the next upcoming date (whether it’s a Wednesday or Saturday), so please check dates on the bookings page carefully when booking.

Please note If you wish to book an in-person session, please get in touch. In-person sessions cannot be booked through this page.

I am trained to deliver Clinical Somatics self-care exercises, in the tradition of Thomas Hanna. I received my training under Sarah Warren, at the Somatic Movement Center. In my pure Somatics classes, I teach only the Clinical Somatics self-care approach and movements - although I may add some guided relaxation at the ends of the classes.

Session details

1.25-hour online group drop-in sessions, practising the self-care exercises of Clinical Somatics.

Pre-requisites: our 4-week beginner’s course, 1:1 sessions with me, or a similar grounding in the approach - please get in touch with me before booking if you have not worked with me before, so we can check you have the foundations needed to attend these sessions.

Sessions are online and listed in London time (UK), and run on Wednesday evenings (twice a month, 8.15-9.30pm), and Saturday mornings (twice a month, 10-11.15am). Click through the ‘Book now’ button to see upcoming dates.

Requirements: preferably a quiet space where you won’t be interrupted; room to lie on the floor (carpet or exercise mat) and spread arms and legs out if possible; Zoom (free download); ideally ability to position the camera so I can see most or all of your body when you are lying on the floor (or at very least your torso); ability to get down to and back up from the floor to do exercises; ability to lie on your back (this could be propped with cushions if needs be; intention to create space to practise between sessions (optional, but highly recommended!). (If you are not able to get down to/up from the floor, or lie on your back, please contact me to arrange a 1:1 session).
